Eddy Vitalone

Baroque-Pop

Eddy Vitalone is a French artist born in 1984 in Moulins. After training in Applied Arts, object design, he received training for 5 years at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Clermont-Ferrand, Applied Arts section. Inspired by his living environment, Eddy Vitalone likes to take liberties with the concepts he has been taught. He has great admiration for the creators of the 1970s and 1980s, fluorescent colors and new media. Inspired by Pop Art and the great masters like Picasso or Miro, he offers us a raw, intuitive painting full of colors.

Eddy has always painted, but it is only since 4 years that he has been propelled onto the international scene, thanks to numerous galleries which defend his work in France, Italy, Poland, USA, Israel, Dubai...
His success is growing and the collaboration opportunities for new projects are numerous.

With humor and poetry, he represents caricatured, stereotyped characters and animals. The often luminous and shimmering colors of his characters produce a strong visual impact.

He depicts characters from comic books or cartoons from his childhood. Eddy mixes universes and characters and thus creates his own animated world, where one often comes across Daffy Duck, Betty Boop, Uncle Scrooge, Jessica Rabbit, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner or even Bugs Bunny... in genre scenes where humor is king.
